Description: We've partnered with an engineering firm who is looking for a motivated Controls Engineer to join their organization. This role offers diverse opportunities in new product development within a technologically advanced organization.
Requirements:
US Citizen.
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical/controls engineering.
Enthusiastic, team player.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to defining product requirements and design documentation.
Develop hardware definitions for new products, including wiring schematics and component specifications.
Work independently with minimal oversight, handling troubleshooting, installation, and customer support.
Support in-house automated product testers and participate in data acquisition projects.
Develop project schedules, coordinate team activities, and track technical status.
Familiarity with PLC programming, C# .NET development, control system installation, and motion control systems is essential.
Preferred Experience:
Embedded C programming, ARM Cortex M series development.
Understanding of electronic systems at the circuit board level.
National Instruments Data Acquisition Hardware, LabVIEW, and TestStand Software.
Hazardous Location Machine Design.
Custom control algorithm development.
