As a Power Electronics Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing power and control electrical equipment, hardware for electrical drive motor circuits, and components. Here are the qualifications and skills typically associated with this role:
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields is preferred. However, relevant experience in the field is also welcome.
Technical Skills and Expertise:
Electronic Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills are essential.
Proficiency in Circuit Design and Electronics is crucial.
Experience in testing power electronic systems is valuable.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex electronic circuits is necessary.
A strong understanding of power electronics components and technologies is important.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are highly desirable.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with vehicle-level electrical systems design and development processes (at least 2 years of experience).
Knowledge of grid operation is advantageous.
