Summary: Apply paint products to fabricated tank parts and components by utilizing basic knowledge of coating products, coating equipment, and coating applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Check wet film reading.
• Spray consistently at correct millage applicable to daily conditions.
• Mix coating products to correct blend for current application.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift
• General housekeeping.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, shipping lists, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with team supervisor and other team members.
Mathematical Skills: Basic skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read a tape measure.
Reasoning Ability: Basic skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Skills and Abilities: Previous experience in paint application and products in a manufacturing environment; Utilization of airless spray gun and other applicable equipment; Ability to satisfactorily pass practical tests to assess proficiency in the operation of abrasive blasting, spray or hand painting equipment, crane and fork lift operations.
