Leidos QTC Health Services is hiring an IT Intern Junior/Senior. This role will work on assignments that are technical in nature to support the Systems Engineering organization within the Office of Technology.  The work should relate to or support current course of college/postgraduate study. Specific duties and responsibilities will be determined by management for each employee.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where some judgment is required

  • Contributions are usually limited to assignment related activities, but may have broader impact on program, group or function


Competencies:



  • Understands aspects of Information Technology, Engineering, Software Development, or related technical disciplines

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Willingness to collaborate and learn from others within the organization

  • Experience with MS office software, to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.  Visio experience is a plus.

  • Technical writing and experience with developing technical diagrams, documentation, and photo/image editing a plus


Education Requirements:



  • High School diploma or equivalent experience/combined education

  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and typically maintain a Minimum GPA 3.0.

  • Quick learner, able to adapt to changing technologies and priorities

  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement


Pay and Benefits:


Hourly range  $28.00 - $34.00
