Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include wafer fab process development for advanced high speed photo detectors. Work will be done under the guidance of experienced IC design engineers.

• Photolithography and dry etch wafer fab process development.
• Characterize the process output including across wafer and wafer-to-wafer uniformity using profilometer, confocal microscope, and SEM when needed.
• Design and execute Design of Experiments to optimize the process.
• Summarize results and present status in weekly meetings.

• Prefer current MS or PhD student working toward a degree in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or related fields. Relevant work and/or research is preferred in the areas wafer fab device fabrication.

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
