The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Demand Planning, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading the collaborative process of sales forecasting for Solventum Medical Surgical Division (durable medical equipment and disposables product).


• Generating a baseline forecast through the statistical and market analysis.


• Gathering qualitative inputs from the sales, marketing, and service teams to enhance the statistical forecast and improve accuracy. This will include identifying future pricing strategies, sales promotions, and product line changes.


• Supporting the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes to align the Demand Plan with the Business Plan.


• Reporting and monitoring Demand Planning Metrics, identifying root cause, and facilitating corrective action as needed.


• Engaging with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to support new product launches.


• Investigating and leading projects to improve internal process within Demand Planning.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher AND Seven (7) years of supply chain management, operations, logistics planning, financial analysis, or business modeling in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Intense curiosity and passion for data quality.


• Experience working with Demand Planning systems.


• Ability to create, improve and streamline internal process.


• Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with internal customers, internal/external suppliers, and fellow team members at all levels.


• Strong written and verbal and communication skills.


• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in visual display reporting to senior leadership.


• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.).

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $106,331 - $129,960, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
