Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Enterprise Applications team. The Director of Enterprise Applications will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's enterprise-wide applications to ensure optimal functionality, integration, and alignment with business objectives. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of enterprise-level applications, technologies, and processes.

Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage a team responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications, including ERP (Epicor P21, SAP B1, NetSuite, MS Business Central), Salesforce (Sales and Service Clouds), HCM (Ceridian Dayforce), MuleSoft, and other critical systems.
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for enterprise application architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging enterprise applications.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of new enterprise applications, ensuring they meet organizational needs and standards.
  • Define and enforce best practices, policies, and standards for enterprise application development, security, and compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service level agreements related to enterprise applications and software solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize application performance, usability, and user experience.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the Enterprise Applications team members.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in enterprise application management.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure collaboration with the security and compliance team as it relates to profiles, roles, permission sets, and data.
  • Assist in planning and executing Salesforce releases and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to users

Competencies

  • Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing enterprise applications, with a strong understanding of ERP, CRM, FSM, HCM and integration platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise application architecture, integration methodologies, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking to drive innovation and operational efficiencies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

Travel

Minimum travel is required for this position.

Required Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, MBA a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of enterprise level applications experience
  • Development and project management background
