Summary

Responsible for proper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepares basic to complex balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring appropriate and timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Work with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to reconcile bank accounts and cash activity.
• Prepares and enters journal entries on general ledger accounts. Audits journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records for accuracy.
• Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, amortization and depreciation schedules and other financial reports. Prepares ad hoc reports on a routine basis.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• 2-4 years of related experience
• Familiarity with ERP accounting systems

• BS in Accounting or Finance
• 2-4 Years of Accountant experience
• Familiarity with SOX audit procedures
• Microsoft Excel Proficiency
