Company Overview

We are a high-growth, private-equity-backed financial services company with a track record for outstanding responsiveness and service to clients. We are seeking an experienced Sales Enablement Director to join our team and play a critical role in measurably enhancing our Disputes, Claims and Investigations ("DCI) practice by developing, improving, and supporting our sales efforts to law firms and in-house counsel.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop a deep understanding of our DCI services and solutions. Create relationships with the key business development resources, primarily MDs, within DCI.

  • Develop a deep understanding of how our clients buy. Leverage this knowledge to enhance the effectiveness of sales outcomes.

  • Stay current on research and best practices in sales enablement and apply those insights to continually improve our processes and strategies.

  • Take ownership of the DCI team's marketing and sales collateral management process (currently organized in Seismic), making measurable improvements in the quality of underlying information and the ease with which managing directors can find valuable, current, and relevant information for their clients.

  • Draft outreach emails that effectively engage prospects and clients, track the use and effectiveness of these emails, and refine strategies based on data-driven insights.

  • Design materials and processes to execute, and measure the effectiveness of, multi-step sales plays relevant to the Legal industry and our clients, such as legal conferences, law firm outreach, client intelligence, and legal roundtables.

  • Work with a marketing to assist in the creation of sales enablement materials, providing guidance and direction to ensure alignment with overall sales objectives.

  • Identify and implement processes to merge marketing efforts with sales efforts, creating a seamless and unified approach to driving revenue growth.

  • Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer DCI, collaborating closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and centralized sales enablement colleagues.

  • Lead a small team of sales enablement focused resources.

  • Assist with special projects that will support the success of cross-selling initiatives within DCI and across Stout.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Five to eight years of experience in sales enablement, sales, or marketing roles within the financial services industry.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing effective sales enablement strategies, including collateral management, email outreach, and multi-step sales plays.

  • Deep understanding of client buying behavior and effective communication techniques in the context of sales enablement. Strong proficiency in CRM and sales enablement platforms.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with managing directors, marketing teams, and other stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on data-driven decision-making.

  • Ability to stay current on industry trends, research, and best practices in sales enablement.

The range for this role considers several factors including but not limited to prior work and industry experience, education level, and unique skills. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
