Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently seeking a Legal Billing Administrator for one of our clients in New Haven County, CT. The ideal candidate has prior legal billing experience, specifically with e-billing. Please see abbreviated list of duties below. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity that pays between $60,000-$80,0000 annually (non-exempt), based upon experience. Responsibilities:
Billing & invoicing, primarily electronic
Accounts Receivable
Time entry
Reconciliations
Other administrative functions in support of billing, such as auditing invoices/data for errors or duplicates, drafting and sending retainers or quarterly letters, etc.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in legal e-billing, required
Prior experience working with at least 1 legal billing software, required
Skills & experience with MS Word, Excel, & Outlook, required
Overall tech savviness, required
Ability to be self-directed, required
Ability to collaborate and work well as a team, required
Knowledge of common legal billing buzz words and phrases such as "write offs", "write-downs", etc.
