Summary: Responsible for the identification and recruitment of the best junior girls, female and amateur players to the Titleist and FootJoy product lines. Work with the players to take care of their equipment needs and to build brand loyalty through optimizing player performance utilizing any and all of the Acushnet Company branded products.


Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the identification and tracking of junior girls, female college / amateur players and post graduate college players who should / will be targeted for Acushnet Company branded product support.

  • Responsible for the promotion of Titleist and FootJoy brands by creating relationships early in the golfer's career and fostering brand loyalty as they progress through the pyramid of influence.

  • Attend junior golf tournaments, junior golf academies, college campuses, college tournaments and amateur tournaments to observe / identify players to be considered for product support and foster relationships with players, coaches, and parents.

  • Observe player performance and recommend Acushnet branded equipment modifications to ensure optimum player performance via proper fitting and product selection.

  • Address and answer all email and voicemail messages on a timely basis. Responsible for the ordering of all stock and custom product needs of the player via the AGS system.


Requirements:



  • A bachelor's degree is required.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the golf industry or competing at a high level of competitive golf, with a working knowledge of golf equipment and the golf swing.

  • Prior experience working with female college, amateur and junior golfers is preferred. The incumbent must be a self-starter, self-sufficient, team player with exceptional interpersonal skills. Strong administrative and computer skills are required as well.

  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 120+ days a year, would include weekends and holidays as required.
