Description



The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of General Internal Medicine, seeks full-time general internists or primary care med-peds physicians for appointment as Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to two years. Clinical responsibilities will include seeing outpatients in the U Chicago Primary Care Group, precepting resident clinic, working in urgent care and attending up to two months per year on the inpatient general medicine service as needed. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications.


Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BC/BE in internal medicine.
