The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing health insurance products in accordance with Affordable Care Act (ACA) regulations for the individual commercial market business segment.
Experience developing and implementing ACA products - including but not limited to utilizing the Actuarial Value calculator, populating CMS-mandated templates for product submission, and working with internal systems to implement health insurance products - is required.
Experience working with benefit cost reduction programs, ancillary product lines, and product add-ons is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare and present executive-level summaries and PowerPoint presentation is required.
Strong strategic skills in thinking through various aspects of product design, their impact on the overall product portfolio, mitigating operational issues related to products, and managing adverse selection related to product design is required.
Strong understanding of the individual market and competitive landscape within Michigan is required.
Experience with NASCO, Facets, Salesforce, and SmartSheets preferred.
Responsible for planning, organizing and managing an assigned business unit. Manage activities of a department including, but not limited to planning, problem solving, staff development and communication.

"Qualifications"
Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required. Master's Degree in a related field is preferred.
Five (5) years of experience in a related field is required.
Previous experience leading projects and/or teams is required.
Ability to effectively lead, coach and develop team members.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working knowledge of corporate organizational structures, including functional responsibilities.
