The University of South Carolina College of Nursing is expanding and seeking three new tenure track faculty members that aligns with our research expertise. See link for our research expertise

. These positions are on-site appointments. The College of Nursing has three research centers: Cancer Survivorship Research Center, ACORN Center: Advancing Chronic care Outcomes through Research & Innovation, and, Perinatal, Pediatric and Family Research Center. We have a newly established Biobehavioral Health & Nursing Science Department and have active plans for new "Biobehavioral Research Suites" which will encompass a wet lab, clinical research space, Community Collaboratory, and innovation rooms with expected completion in 2025. The College has a solid research support infrastructure supported by the Associate Dean for Research, Assistant Dean for Research, Statistician, and pre- and post-award staff. The CON is now ranked in the top 20's (#28) in NIH funding, and has the opportunity to fund these new positions with the goal of increasing NIH and other federal funding.


Required Education and Experience:

Candidates at the Assistant Professor level are expected to have a pre-doctoral and/or post doctoral experience and/or funding, and a focused program of research with a history of publications and grant submissions. Candidates at the Associate Professor level are expected to have a record of externally funded research grants, scientific collaboration with junior and senior research faculty, and PhD-level student teaching and mentorship. The selected candidates will join the College of Nursing's research team of junior and senior-level researchers with established research programs.
