The School of Business and Technology at Missouri Valley College invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science to begin in August 2024. This position is a full-time, renewable, non-tenure track position.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

Must be able to teach Computer Systems Architecture, Computer Software Engineering, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, and Operating Systems. Other courses may be considered depending on the qualifications.

Faculty members are responsible for curriculum, teaching, service, scholarship, and related administrative activities that support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the College.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 18 graduate credits in Computer Science.

PhD or a doctorate in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

College-level teaching experience and professional experience preferred.

Collegiality, professionalism, and a strong commitment to teaching excellence and the college mission are also necessary qualifications.
