Assistant Director, The Holy Cross Institute

St. Edward's University of Austin, Texas invites applications for the position of Assistant Director at The Holy Cross Institute. The Assistant Director will be pivotal in supporting the Institute's goals and initiatives. This is a full-time, twelve-month position, that is benefits-eligible position.

For consideration, qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree (advanced or terminal degree preferred)
4-6 years of professional or management experience in a related area
Proven skills in communications, organization, program development, and curriculum development
High degree of organizational and administrative ability
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines efficiently
Detail-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented work ethic
Collaborative work style with a willingness to respond to an evolving set of priorities
Educational and/or professional experience in a Holy Cross institution
Strong technology skills
Desire to bring a passionate and personal focus to mission-centered formation programming
Preferred qualifications include:
Background in or history with Holy Cross formation experiences, broadly understood
Well-versed in the teachings of the Catholic Church and Holy Cross mission and charism
Essential Responsibilities Include:
Support and assist the Executive Director in the execution of responsibilities and the Institute's goals
Direct the development of the Holy Cross Charism Initiative and facilitate HCCI cohorts at St. Edward's University and other Holy Cross schools, colleges, and universities
Structure, coordinate, and oversee student involvement in the HCI, especially in terms of the Moreau Scholars program
Coordinate event planning committees and conduct meetings for/with the committees, school representatives, and HCI partner organizations
Support the Executive Director in work with the HCI Board of Governors and the implementation of the strategic plan
Develop, plan, implement, and manage academic resources and programs
Conduct research and produce academic publications
Share responsibility with the Executive Director to build institutional relationships, strengthen organizational coherence, and advance mission effectiveness
