Job Description:
Germanna Community College is a public, open access institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System. Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. We are currently seeking adjunct faculty members, for face-to-face teaching assignments, in the field of Health - Pharmacy Technician.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the subject area
- History of successful teaching experience
- Subject matter expertise, and experience in facilitating learning
- Ability to teach online, and/or willingness to learn and effectively utilize online learning platforms
- Industry certifications in respective fields
- Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools

Special Assignments:

KSA's/Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree.
- Current pharmacy technician certification or licensure as a pharmacist.
- Five years of related industry experience.
- Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Potential for facilitating student success in higher education.
- Willingness to assume relevant technological skills required for effective teaching.
- Demonstrates commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
- Indication of teaching and service furthering the goal of building a culturally diverse educational environment.
- Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools.
- Commitment to working with diverse colleagues, students, and community members.
