Location: Hartford, Connecticut





Job Description:

100% onsite position. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm EST. Team has a rotating on-call schedule, where they will be required to be on-call 24/7 for one week every seven weeks.



Description:


Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex IT Support assignments/projects. Provides a relationship management role with internal/external service providers to the IT organization. Ensures management of IT components within the scope of the service definition or ASP agreement to ensure business SLAs are met. Maintains process/procedures to manage IT services, including creating and tracking hardware and software inventory, creating centralized contract main file, determining contractual and financial exposure, and negotiating contracts. Under direction, may negotiate pricing and determine contract terms and conditions. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership within IT Services but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.


Coordination and management of Severe Incident Management process activities Supporting Incident Management reporting (KPIs and customer SLAs) Drive complex technical problems where analysis of situation requires in-depth evaluation & technical knowledge of all areas driving restoration of service with support teams Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences Ability to assess data, identify gaps, trends, and inaccuracies, and turn that data into actionable outcomes and opportunities


Skills:


Exceptional communication skills and experience interacting with all levels of organization Solid understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management


Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and operating systems
