The Department of Psychiatry has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Research Associate to work on the UHealth Campus. The Research Associate 1 supports research activities for the assigned division by conducting laboratory experiments on assigned research projects. Moreover, the incumbent operates with the goal of advancing his/her expertise through continued education, training, and research.
Assists with carrying out various research functions for the CNSA's NIH and state funded clinical research projects.
Works well with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner and in adherence to the study protocols and timelines.
Conducts study procedures onsite and in the community to meet the study timelines and protocols.
Transportation preferred due to community-based nature of some of the projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
No prior experience required
BLS Certification
Phlebotomy certification (preferred but not required)
Excellent oral and communication skills.
English/Spanish bilingual oral communication skills preferred.
Basic technical skills with computer
Flexible with traveling to participant's homes or the community as needed to provide phlebotomy services.
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
