JOB TITLE/LOCATION:



Manager – Corporate Systems– Oxford, CT



Principal Responsibilities:



  • Develop and administrate user access to financial systems

  • Mentor, train and supervise finance users across several key systems

  • Prepare monthly reporting while designing methods to improve & automate

  • Recommend and implement improvements in financial reporting policies and procedures

  • Reconcile large datasets related to Sales, AP, AR, cash, inventories

  • Communicate clearly and effectively both internally and with external suppliers

  • Assist with monthly & quarterly reporting, including analysis and inquiry with divisions

  • Prepare, monitor and drive improvement in key financial performance indicators

  • Project management, ensuring initiatives progress on time and on budget

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budget and rolling forecasts

  • Compile and provide support for quarterly and annual reviews and audits

  • Monitor internal controls to ensure proper compliance

  • Attendance at work is an essential function of the job




EDUCATION:



  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or Accounting




EXPERIENCE:



  • Knowledge of US generally accepted accounting principles and understanding of SEC reporting requirements

  • Experience in financial reporting, including consolidation, cash flow, inventory valuation

  • Ability to use sound judgement in implementing efficient solutions to challenges

  • SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and communicate effectively

  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including ability to learn and master new software

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Power Apps (PowerBI, PowerQuery), SQL

  • Knowledge/Experience with the following systems a plus: SAP, Syteline, CCH Tagetik, Sage FAS
