What we need:



Mohawk is looking for a Sr Finance Manager who will oversee and direct the finance and accounting activities for our corporate functions. The team is responsible for various activities in both finance and accounting, ranging from budgeting, financial close as well as business partnering with the corporate functional leaders through reporting and analysis.


The Sr Finance Manager will work with leadership from different areas to engage as a business partner on multiple aspects; supporting with establishing expense management processes and systems, enhancing forecast capabilities and identifying risks and opportunities for the business.



What you'll do:




  • Lead the development and execution of strategic and operational SG&A plans that drive long-range financial and business plans
  • Work collaboratively with Business Units, IS and heads of departments to create and implement processes and tools used to improve financial and strategic planning, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Develop expense management processes and systems, leveraging ZBB methodology, to different departments and business units , improving information flow to guarantee accuracy, transparency and speed in the budgeting process
  • Provide in-depth analytical and financial expertise to the Finance organization
  • Assist during monthly close, as well as developing and providing financial and operational performance reporting and ensuring the integrity of the data
  • Support the Finance organization in other analytical initiatives, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, actual reporting and adhoc analysis
  • Stay abreast of the industry and economic change and trends
  • Assist in data management and financial reporting; synthesizing group reporting utilizing multiple systems
  • Ensure systems are consistent and integrated with the business practices they support and identify key issues and weaknesses, providing solutions for improvement and managing the implementation of system enhancements
  • Migrate reports in excel to automated BI tools
  • Partner with the different areas of the business to improve the quality of financial information available and influence decisions that would improve shareholder value



What you have:




  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, data science or related discipline
  • Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration (preferred)
  • Experience with zero based budgeting, expense forecasting and improving expense controls
  • CPA or CMA certification (desired but not required)
  • 9+ years of job specific work experience with demonstrated professional growth and achievement
  • Experience ZBB and cost center planning
  • Experience using SAP FICO, SAP SAC, Blackline, Business Objects, Business Intelligence, SQL Queries
  • Project management experience in executing projects through implementation, across multiple internal and external reporting and organizational lines
