What we need:



The position is responsible for planning and managing BI front-end development and Business Analysis activities within the Central Finance Reporting team, this includes: multiple BI applications development, maintenance, and enhancements projects utilizing various new computing architectures and platforms. Provides leadership and direction to diverse project teams consisting of both technical and functional professionals to develop and maintain systems. This position will provide a variety of professional development opportunities in a leading edge technology environment and team that is using some of the best products on the market to create industry leading digital experiences.



What you'll do:




  • Responsible for the development of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence data models as well as some data sourcing.
  • Responsible for creating enterprise wide Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining an adaptable and flexible Business Intelligence architecture to provide consistent and high-quality data architecture.
  • Responsible for working hands-on with data warehousing/Business Intelligence technologies including Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SAP HANA and SAC.
  • Participates in technical design sessions providing input on best practices.
  • Participates on project teams serving as a technical expert on strategic long-range and highly complex projects that span the organization, crossing business unit boundaries.
  • Develop Analytics solutions to meet business needs, partly by capitalizing on emerging technologies and partly by adapting technologies to the needs of the customer.
  • Monitors and reports on the status of multiple concurrent project efforts; proactively reviews and interprets performance against operating plans and standards; provides information and reports to subordinates on interpretation of results and approves changes in plans; presents reports on project performance, changes, enhancements, scope variations, and other related matters and/or participates in key management activities and committees advising Central Finance senior management and business unit project sponsors accordingly.
  • Documents and maintains best practices, project standards, procedures, application, quality objectives and "lessons learned"; ensures that applications systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural/development standards and established methodologies and practices.
  • Knowledge of data architecture concepts such as data cubes and OLAP multi-dimensional systems, data marts, data mining systems, operational data stores, data warehouses, staging databases, and data hubs
  • Very strong in customer engagement and consensus building. Able to work across business and IS teams
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the principles, techniques and methodology of project management, quality management, and change management
  • Working knowledge of Company policies, and a basic understanding of Human Resources laws and regulations as it relates to employee relations and supervision
  • Works with Central Finance and North America IS colleagues as well as project sponsors/customers to determine the long-term application architecture and strategy.
  • Performs other duties as required



What you have:




  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline with an information technology focus. Master's degree preferred.
  • Candidates will need to have led multiple data architecture design in complex BI implementations.
  • 5+ years EDW/BI specific work experience with demonstrated professional growth and achievement.
  • 2 + years in a supervisory/managerial capacity leading diverse and cross functional work groups/teams
  • Candidate must demonstrate effective leadership and constructive conflict resolution, and proactive resource management.
  • 5+ years in business application design and systems development, including implementation and installation in multiple EDW and BI environments with various technologies (i.e. Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, HANA, SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, BusinessObjects, Cognos, Oracle BI, Microstrategy, etc.)
  • Candidates will need to have led multiple data architecture design in complex BI
  • 5+ years BI development and architecture design
  • At least 5 years' experience developing Enterprise BI Solution on 3 of the EDW platforms (Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, AS400, HANA, SAP BW, etc.)
  • Experience in integrating and harmonizing complex SAP ERP and non-SAP data sources
  • Strong knowledge of principles, techniques, and best practices of data model and dimensional data model, data profiling

  • Ability to perform in a high pressure environment and/or crisis situation and render good decisions to resolve the problems, maintain safety and ensure adherence to Corporate Code of Conduct.
