What you will enjoy doing*


  • You will manage the workload for Electrical Design group which consists of < 5 direct reports

  • You will prioritize employee tasks to ensure they are completed on schedule

  • Provide continuous coaching and annual feedback review to designers

  • Establish training programs and recommendations for employee development.

  • In addition, you will adapt plans and priorities to address resource challenges

  • Manage global relationships with regional offices in India, Munich, Canada, Brazil and Mexico offices

  • Responsible for execution of global workshare projects

  • Also, you will prepare and oversee the development of detailed drawings and layouts for process plant electrical distribution systems for engineering, manufacturing, or construction projects

  • You will review and approve design packages for conformance to project definition, design safety, and quality standards, codes, and completeness

  • Additionally, you will provide prompt and accurate responses to construction RFIs

  • Work with field teams on installations, issue identifications, analysis, and repairs


What makes you great


  • You have an Associate's degree and 10 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 6 years of experience

  • 5years of management experience preferred

  • You also have extensive knowledge in power distribution (15kV, 5kV, 480V & 120V), cable tray design, grounding practices, sizing of wire and conduit, winterization (heat tracing), and lighting & utilities

  • Knowledge of industrial codes, standards and practices including the NEC

  • Knowledge of air separation plants a plus

  • Additionally, you have the ability to read, interpret and extract relevant information from electrical one-line diagrams, schematic wiring diagrams, P & I diagrams and vendor drawings assist designers on the team

  • Familiarity with database drawing software (i.e. Siemens COMOS, Bentley Autoplant, SmartPlant, AutoCad or other industry CAD systems), Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam

Salary Pay Range: 88,875USD - 154,050USD
