RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT.

Summary:
We are seeking a proactive individual to join our engineering team as a DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to construct, deploy, monitor, optimize, and maintain diverse applications across public and private cloud platforms, catering to a global audience.

Key Responsibilities as a DevOps Engineer:

• Supervise the deployment, scaling, and monitoring of containerized applications within a Kubernetes environment


• Apply Linux administration knowledge to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize server environments


• Utilize scripting skills in bash and Python to automate tasks, streamline processes, and enhance system efficiency


• Apply advanced expertise in Cloud edge technologies (CDN, S3, WAF) to optimize content delivery, storage, and enhance web application security


• Collaborate closely with Software Development teams, providing support, optimizing security measures, improving system reliability, and enhancing development velocity

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role


• 5+ years of experience administering Kubernetes, scripting (Bash, Python), and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo)


• 5+ years of experience in Linux Administration


• Experience with load-balancing technologies (F5, Nginx)


• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)


• Strong network administration and troubleshooting experience

Standout Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Mathematics (preferred)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
