Reports to: Senior Merchandise Manager, Emerging Brands

Location: Remote

The Role

The Merchandise Manager is a strategic problem-solver who can influence decision making, deliver thoughtful assortments and communicate ideas effectively to cross-functional partners. The Merchandise Manager will support a number of cross-functional teams including Planning, Supply and Demand, Marketing, and eCommerce partners, by developing, executing, and communicating the seasonal merchandise plan for Teva.com. A strong candidate for this role is highly organized, reactionary, and ready to juggle multiple tasks, people, and relationships in order to drive and achieve the strategic objectives of the brand.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:


  • Driving daily execution for buying, analyzing, merchandising, and forecasting for respective areas.

  • Owner of pre-season plans & in-season performance from a bottom-up perspective to align overall seasonal top-down financial plans and brand strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across product, marketing, digital marketing and eCommerce to achieve planned sales targets.

  • Responsible for seasonal share-outs of buy strategies that tie back to overall financial plans and brand initiatives.

  • Reporting and analysis share outs on actuals to inform future buy strategies.

  • Building relationships through effective collaboration in order to provide timely direction and communication to all team members.

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or related work experience.

  • 5+ years in retail buying/merchandising.

  • 2+ years as a direct manager.

  • Omni-Channel and Corporate buying experience.

  • Proficient in Ecom terminology + tactics.

  • Footwear and apparel experience preferred.

  • Expert Excel and retail math.

  • Strong planning, inventory management, and analytical skills.

  • Employs employee growth and development skills.

$122,000 - $132,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
