Job Overview
The employee in this role performs field service jobs (technical supervision for work crews, equipment inspections, equipment installations, in-field repairs) with the goals of proper execution and customer satisfaction. The role will have the primary responsibility of project execution, customer interaction, and vendor support of field service projects. Additionally, the role will support Product Managers in development and sales of these scopes. The employee will represent ANDRITZ to our customers, showcasing the company's core values.
Primary Job Responsibilities and Duties
Properly execute field service jobs:
Safety is a priority. Work is performed to mill, industry, and ANDRITZ safety standards at a minimum
Understand mill safety requirements and communicate to subcontractors
Understand work scopes in detail and clearly communicate to subcontractors
Complete agreed upon scope to mutual customer and ANDRITZ satisfaction
Regularly communicate with mill contacts and Product Managers to ensure project expectations are understood
Responsible for proper on-site supervision during field work.
Attend mill-required pre-outage meetings
Field Service Sales Support
Works with Product Managers to develop work scopes
Issues RFQs and obtains vendor quotes for estimates
Issues Field Service proposals and estimates accurately and clearly
Reviews customer RFQs and performs site visits as required to accurately quote
Business Development
Works with subcontractors to develop their skillsets
Works with ANDRITZ Field Rep employees to develop their skillsets
Identifies potential new subcontractors
Identifies potential improvements in products
