Works with Facilities Management in the development and administration of the overall Warehouse Plan and the implementation of processes. Assignments on warehouse operations, usually requiring originality and ingenuity, will be based on Client needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Duties:
Prepare, coordinate and ensure that all fire, life safety and other safety programs are established and followed as required for the Warehouse.
Complete Dow MyLearning within assigned timelines and attend regularly scheduled Safety meetings
Responsible for a positive prompt response to requests from building tenants and for the implementation of ongoing contract programs to constantly assess tenant needs and to assure problems are being solved promptly, and to the mutual benefit of the tenant and the properties.
Unload all truck deliveries to the site including chemicals, packages and mail
Responsible for the completion of assigned work order task as needed.
Log chemicals received into CisPro
Sign for shipments and submit paperwork to the receiving clerk
Transporting of packages to designated areas
Transport materials and equipment from warehouse to the labs as requested by R&D
Organize chemical and equipment storage in the warehouse and outside areas
Complete housekeeping in material storage areas of the warehouse
Review lost package issues from the tenants
Organize the pallets as required for waste shipments
Assist Brazos M&E with waste shipment loading
Prepare shipments of equipment and samples for R&D
Other tasks as assigned by Dow sponsor or Newmark Lead Material Handler who manages the overall operation of the warehouse
May perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills, Education and Experience:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required or equivalent experience
General computer knowledge
Must be dedicated to the highest quality and customer satisfaction
Excellent written and oral skills
Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments
