The Opportunity



The Director of Clinical Operations for MGB MG Procedural and Ancillary Services is responsible developing and overseeing an administrative and clinical structure that ensures that the 17+ sites in Massachusetts and New Hampshire as well delivers the highest quality of care to patients and an exceptional provider and staff experience while adhering to all regulatory and professional requirements and standards. The Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for the direct supervision of an administrative and clinical leadership team and for participating with establishing clinical operational goals, executing these goals through the work of the team. This role will collaborate with the Executive Director and the Procedural Medical Director and be accountable for the oversight of short term and long term projects for the implementation of key initiatives and innovation, care delivery and access to care models, productive staffing models, and driving clinical staff, clinical support staff and administrative staff competency and career growth and satisfaction, as well as the implementation of a regulatory/compliance/quality and clinical standard compliance monitoring system.


The Director of Clinical Operations of the MGB Medical Group Procedural and Ancillary Services will partner and collaborate with the MGB Medical Group Procedural and Ancillary Services Executive Director and Procedural Medical Director as the team leads the merger of multiple different Procedural and Ancillary Services care leadership teams, billing, clinical, and licensure models into one harmonized and high-performing service line across the MGB Medical Group. The Director of Clinical Operations, by leading an exceptional administrative and clinical support structure, will have a critical role within this team working on access initiatives across the procedural community of MGB MG.


Procedural and Ancillary services include: Ambulatory Surgical, Endoscopy, Cardiac Testing, Phlebotomy/Lab Services, Pharmacy, Infusion, Imaging/Techs and Anticoagulation Management Services.



The Vision



This is a hybrid role with travel requirements to procedural and ancillary sites located in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. It is a Monday through Friday role with occasional weekends and extended hours.



Qualifications

Education



  • Bachelor's degree and licensure in a clinical discipline required.

  • Masters in health administration or business administration required.

  • Advanced Practice Practitioner (NP, DNP) Degree and licensure preferred.


Experience



  • Minimum of 10 years of healthcare experience including 5+ years of clinical management with demonstrated leadership progression; prior procedural or multi-practice management and operations experience preferred.

  • Must have excellent clinical and administrative skills, highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications and project coordination experience.

  • Experience in implementing, tracking, analyzing, and improving clinical quality measures.

  • Experience in program development implementation and evaluation.
