Amherst Medical Associates



Our practice is located at 170 University Drive Amherst, MA 01002. As a Family Medicine office, we offer comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, from infants to adults.

Role Overview



We are seeking an in-person, full-time, 40-hour RN to support our practice onsite, Monday through Friday. We are open from 8:00am to 5:00pm, so schedules are staggered accordingly. Dedicated to phone triage, the Nurse will handle patient interactions via telephone, provide advice in accordance with clinical protocols, and coordinate proper disposition. Calls are related to patient concerns, appointments, pre and post procedures, urgent care, inpatient admissions, prescription refills, and test results.



Qualifications

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program required.


• Current Massachusetts licensure as an RN required.


• Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association required prior to hire.


• Family Medicine/Primary Care Nursing experience preferred.


• Phone Triage experience preferred.
