The Registered Dietitian will provide education, counseling, and Medical Nutrition therapy and care to patients, residents and clients in their specific department or area of accountability both individually and in groups. This is done via assessment, development, implementation, documentation, and monitoring of nutrition care plans. Identify, develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate education programs to patients, health care providers, and the community. Functions as an integral part of the collaborative interdisciplinary health care team. The Registered Dietitian also serves as a nutrition resource for the patient, health care team and community and assures that the delivery of high quality nutrition care is provided.
