A Day in the Life

Medtronic is currently searching for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our growing team at the Billerica facility.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Establishes, modifies, and upholds quality standards and protocols for processing materials into finished or semi-finished products.
• Works closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement and maintain quality standards.
• Develops and executes methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating product precision and equipment accuracy.
• Designs or specifies inspection and testing equipment, conducts quality assurance tests, and conducts statistical analyses to assess costs and determine responsibility for products that do not meet standards.
• Ensures that corrective measures meet reliability standards, and that documentation complies with requirements.
• Specializes in various areas such as design, material sourcing, production control, product evaluation, and research and development to improve product and process quality.

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
