The Packaging Operator 1- 1st Shift at Ewing site will package kits and perform filling, capping, and labeling to produce reagents and kits used by research and clinical testing laboratories throughout the world. Job duties include:



Shift hours:



Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pmAssemble and package chemical kits. Fill, cap, and label chemical products manually or using semi-automated equipment. Fill products utilizing aseptic techniques and/or environmentally controlled areas. Transfer bulk material utilizing peristaltic pumps. Filter bulk material using pumps and in-line filters or vacuum filters. Assist with loading bottles and pack-off during fill line operations. Develop and assist in the implementation of process improvement ideas. Comply with the requirements of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001. Participate in 6S activities. Maintain good housekeeping and audit readiness.

Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



High School diploma or GED



Preferred Qualifications:



3+ months of chemical packaging, manufacturing, or scientific/laboratory experience3+ months of experience in ISO/GMP regulated environmentAbility to do basic math-including metrics and conversionsKnowledge of safety rules, GMP, SOP's, UOP'sMechanical skills with ability to use pumps, electronic balances, and material handling equipmentTroubleshoot automated packaging equipmentStrong written and oral communication skills and problem-solving skills Ability to train others and work in a team settingExperience with hand toolsRSREMD
