Responsible for the proper accounting for finished goods inventory, credit collections, freight accounting, brokered business invoicing.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Assists in preparation of budget and monthly financial reporting • Monitor accounts payable regularly to compare general ledger distributions with budget for SG&A. Oversee weekly payables report prior to check run. Monitor manual check registers. End of month payable accruals. • Process expense reports for SG&A. • Monitor FG inventory activities on a regular basis and oversee quarterly physical inventory procedures. Develop and assure adequate control over FG inventory. • Manage month end and year end closing procedures. • Compile monthly report for SG&A and FG yard operations. • Coordinate information and documentation for audits. • Allocate costs across various departments. • Assures internal control policies are adhered to. • Responsible for account reconciliations. • Control and maintain records of all SG&A expenditures and consolidate operational capital expenditures. • Supervise all office activities and monitor work flow. • Supervise, train and evaluate office staff. • Organize office operations and procedures, coordinate, evaluate and revise as needed to improve efficiency of work flow. • Provide support for Controller and Director of Finance as needed. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Management duties include supervision of exempt and/or non-exempt staff. This includes but is not limited to, conducting performance evaluations and improvement plans, approving paid time-off (PTO), assigning or delegating work, providing on-the-job training, giving guidance to staff, taking disciplinary action, and interviewing candidates for open positions.
