This position will be housed in the College of Education Office of Research and report directly to the Associate Dean for Research. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Office of Research. This position will maintain data/prepare reports focused on grant proposal submissions, awards and expenditures ; be the college's Gift Card Manager ; and assist the office's research administrators as needed (gathering proposal documents, drafting vendor contracts, etc.).
Bachelors and 1 year experience
Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience. Certification/Licensing: None.

• Adaptability, problem-solving, and organization
• Strong customer service, communication and teamwork
• Prior experience with PeopleSoft with the capability to run queries
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use Excel as a data tool
• Some previous experience/interactions with grant-funded research, and faculty engagement experience
