Description: We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer to join our client's team and contribute to our exciting projects.
Responsibilities:
Automating data pipelines/transfers on cloud platforms (AWS) using technologies such as Spark, Python, and Shell Scripting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data sources and efficient data processing.
Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Grafana and AppDynamics.
Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows, ensuring high availability and performance.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in on-call rotation for production support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE work
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Shell Scripting.
Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Control-M and Autosys.
Knowledge of performance monitoring and troubleshooting using tools like Grafana and AppDynamics (one of these is required).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant field.
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty).
Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
