Description: Our client is currently seeking a System Administrator 2
Type : Contract | 6+ Months
Active Secret Clearance required to start.
Berkeley, MO 63134
Onsite/remote/hybrid: 100% on site.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture
- Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems
- Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems
- Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements
- Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Active CompTIA Security+ certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)
- 1+ years of experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Server 2016-2022, Windows 10)
- 1+ years of experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting
- 1+ years of experience working within the DoD Risk Managed Framework (RMF)
- 1+ years of experience with maintaining and configuring Active Directory (AD)
- Willing to work weekends as needed upon conversion to direct hire
- Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active Top Secret clearance
- 3+ years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support
- 3+ years of experience with maintaining/configuring AD to include applying domain group policies
- 3+ years of experience with PowerShell and Linux scripts to enable consistent, high-quality integration of hardware assets
- 3+ years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems
- 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware
- 3+ years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating complex system problems and resolution
- 3+ years of experience Integrating security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems
