Description: Our client is currently seeking a 1st shift Production Supervisor in a non-union high-speed manufacturing facility in Chicago, IL. SHIFT: 1st shift!
Relocation is Provided!
LOCATION: Berwyn/Cicero Area
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Provide leadership and training to accomplish all production goals
oversee and develop a team of 25-50+ employees on shift
Prepare and review employees' hours for payroll and ensure accuracy
Be the first point of contact for operators regarding mechanical problems and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
Communicate and work with other team members to control and improve the manufacturing process
Oversee the KPIs and monitor shift performance and establish any deficiencies
Qualifications & Requirements:
Packaging Manufacturing Experience is a plus
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
High-speed manufacturing experience is a plus
Bilingual Spanish is a plus
3+ years of Production Supervision experience
Overseen a team of 20+ employees
Six Sigma Green Belt Preferred
