Background:
ECS is a rapidly growing company committed to delivering high quality healthcare and management consulting support for mission focused programs at the Department of Veterans Affairs. We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead a portfolio of VHA Programs including VA Innovation programs. The Senior Manager will support existing teams, work to grow projects through organic expansion of current work, and support bid and proposal efforts. This role will take an active role in shaping growth, building, and leading teams, and engaging with clients to meet and exceed their needs.
Role Description
Growth minded leader who interfaces with customers to ensure quality delivery of contractual obligations.
Manage delivery teams and provide internal coordination with and utilization of internal program support functions to ensure efficient and effective project administration.
Deliver project support for VA client, providing advisory and subject matter expertise (SME) support to help clients meet project goals and missions.
Manage profit and loss for teams and communicate findings and recommendations of financial analysis.
Provide leadership, training and coaching to program managers and task leads.
Actively lead and participate in interviews and onboarding of candidates.
Professionally represent ECS at client progress meetings and briefings and support day-to-day client relationships and communications.
Required Skills:
8+ Year's Relevant Leadership Experience
Bachelor's Degree.
Public Trust security clearance.
Experience supporting the Department of Veteran's Affairs
Ability to think strategically to effectively assess client and project team situation and assemble solutions to meet client and program team needs.
Ability to manage complex project teams.
Proficiency in relationship and management, communications, and business development.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to build and manage internal and external relationships at all levels within an organization while possessing diplomacy and cooperative style necessary to work effectively with diverse individuals across functional disciplines.
Desired Skills:
Federal management consulting experience.
Healthcare management consulting experience.
PMP Certification.
Masters Degree.
