As the Sr. Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue by developing and executing business strategies to expand the customer base, increase market share, and build strong relationships with key customers and partners. This role will also play a crucial role in identifying new market segment opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and mobilizing the brokerage to effectively execute new and existing business

Strategic thinker.2-5+ years of experience in logistics/transportation with focus on business development.Has expert-level knowledge of the 3PL industry.Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on selling FST Brokerage Services to newprospects and expanding current accounts.Prospect for leads to build a pipeline, including heavy cold calling.Find new customers and drive new sales opportunities by identifying key decision makers anddetermining the appropriate approach.Translate business opportunities into incremental revenues through strong selling. Manage multipleprojects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.Contact and conduct initial discovery with customers via phone and email. Facilitate face-to-facemeetings, present proposals and solutions, close business.Prospect via phone, internet, fieldwork, referrals, industry networking, and trade showsHas continuous engagement with customers to maintain close relationships and ensures ongoingsuccess with accounts.Succeed at heavy price and service negotiation with customers and carriers.Collaborate internally with various teams on pricing strategy and account implementation plans.Manages effective onboarding of new customers.Advanced MS Office skills required (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel)Advanced experience with CRMs and Lead Generation software
