Job Description:

PURPOSE: To manage the planning and execution of communication with ownership and community outreach programming for Wedge Community Co-ops; and support design and communications functions of the Marketing Department.

REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing

STATUS: Full time, hourly

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Community Outreach and Events
Manage Change Matters and Product Partners program which include establishing and maintaining relationships with partners, communication with Front End teams, coordinating in store signage and communication about program, recruiting and establishing relationship for vendors involved in product partner program, and coordinating and overseeing the application process and selection committee.Support copy writing and content across materials associated to owners, partnerships, and general marketing.Serve as Owner liaison for Marketing Department, reply to comments, questions, feedback.Develop and grow partnerships with community organizations to increase TCCPs presence in the community and expand our organizational outreach.Manage in-kind donation requests.Internal and external event planning, coordination, and support. Bring in other key stakeholders as needed, delegate and direct tasks as needed.Support Board events including the Annual Owner Meeting.
Graphic Design and Communications Support
Create weekly Fresh Flyer and related print and digital assets.Print, organize, and deliver print materials to both locations.Manage Marketing sign request portal. Design digital and print assets as requested by departments around the organization.Provide communications and copy support to team as needed; including social media, blog, email, and website.Contribute to quarterly print newsletter including research and writing, assist at photoshoots.Other marketing, design, and communications tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in a related field preferred; or 2-3 years related experience in marketing, outreach, events, and graphic designIntermediate skills with the Adobe Suite, including Illustrator and InDesignDemonstrated ability to learn new marketing strategies and tactics quicklyAbility to draft, present and communicate effectively via written and verbal communications for all levels of audiences in a collaborative and clear mannerExcellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detailAbility to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentPassion for working in natural and organic foods and retail
Work in a safe manner, following all safety instructionsWork in a collaborative culture, and be open to feedback and willing to take direction
Experience with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher)Demonstrated ability to work with customers and coworkers from diverse cultural backgrounds
Ability to work with TCCP to create an inclusive environment where all are welcomed
