Our Marketing Orchestration and Activation Team is seeking a Director, Marketing Orchestration to drive Prudential’s digital marketing transformation by driving our marketing automation and personalization initiatives forward.

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing Orchestration and Activation, the ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of MarTech, Digital Marketing and Personalization. The person filling this role will be responsible for driving the adoption of Prudential’s MarTech stack by implementing approved use-cases for the US Business Marketing teams. This role requires a change agent for the organization providing thought leadership on digital marketing best practices and tactical implementation across channels to deliver on a seamless omnichannel customer experience. Additionally, this individual will be managing go-to-market strategies and change management communications while ensuring successful adoption of innovative MarTech capabilities. The role will require you to work across and partner closely with the US Business Marketing teams, MarTech Product owners, Execution and Creative teams to drive digital innovation and deliver best in class experiences and transform the culture.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence in the Newark, NJ office on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:


  • Demonstrate the value of digital technologies and driving key differentiating initiatives

  • Partner with Business Marketing teams to activate innovated use cases demonstrating MarTech capabilities aligned to business goals

  • Lead marketing pilots focused on using data and customer insights to translate business needs to personalized omni-channel data-driven campaigns and journeys across channels

  • Drive adoption, communications, support, and recommendations to increase utilization and ROI

  • Identify efficiency opportunities through from driving Self-Service, Automation and Process Optimization

  • Manage go-to-market strategies for highly complex campaigns including the management of Paid Media campaigns in support of the US Business teams

  • Understand business needs and translate into campaign requirements for hand off to MarTech and Execution partners

What you’ll need:


  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing and /or managing digital programs, specifically in financial services and/or internet enabled businesses

  • Passionate about digital transformation, with experience introducing new capabilities, processes, or thinking into an organization. Understand marketing technology landscape and experience with relevant digital marketing technologies (personalization, data platforms, analytics, etc)

  • Experience working with and/or leading marketing plans from development to execution and managing omnichannel strategy

  • Curious and innovative mindset that inspires those around them (regardless of level) to be creative and try new things. Excellent consultative skills and ability to form strong business relationships at all levels and across multiple business units and functions

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $160,700.00 to $217,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
