Job Description:

Overview



Main responsibilities include supporting hardware such as PC's and Mac desktop/laptop computers, printers, scanners, various USB devices, point-of-sale terminals running Windows 10, wireless handheld scan guns, iPads, iPhones, Android devices, CCTV camera systems, Ethernet and WIFI connectivity, desktop phones, cabling, and terminating ethernet drops. Supporting software, such as Windows 8/10/11, MacOS, Microsoft Office applications and o365, WPCRM, Termsync, and various other desktop/mobile software.

Responsibilities


  • PC/Mac support including support for:
    • Windows 10/11
    • Various Desktop Software
    • Scanners
    • Printers
    • Copiers
    • Keyboards/Mice
    • Displays
    • Network Connectivity

  • Avaya VoIP Support
  • AML Wireless Handheld Gun Support
  • CCTV Cameras and Digital Video Recorders
  • iPhone, Android, and Associated Apps


  • Software Support Including:
    • Infor Point-of-Sale application.
    • WPCRM Customer Resource Management Software.
    • Termsync Customer Self-Serve Portal.
    • Microsoft Office Applications Including Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
    • O365 Users and Groups.
    • Various other applications as needed.



Qualifications




Required (Minimum) Qualifications:



  • Associate degree in applied sciences or related field.
  • 1+ year in a Tier 1 Computer Technician support role.
  • CompTIA Certification(s).
  • Other Computer Technician certifications a plus




Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Hands-on experience with PC's and Macs in an office environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Strong computer-related troubleshooting skills.


  • Ability to quickly learn new hardware and software platforms.
  • Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise phone systems.
  • Hands-on experience using wireless handheld guns.
  • Experience with troubleshooting printers, scanners and copiers.

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional in-state travel may be required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS


As a condition of employment, required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background/credit check. Must have reliable transportation to/from work. Must have a clean driving record. Must be willing to occasionally travel to our remote locations throughout the state.
