Job Description:

Thriving real estate investment firm located near West Los Angeles is looking for a Tax Director. While working closely with the executive management and corporate stakeholders, the Tax Director will be responsible for corporate (Federal, State, and Income) filings, analyzing and completing all filings associated with the firm's real estate funds, performing tax documentation, tax contingencies, tax calculations, and consolidations. The Tax Director will review tax related accounting transactions, compile tax reporting packages, perform variance analysis, assist with revenue analysis/forecasting and preparing financial reporting packages, journal entries, and lead tax audits. The Tax Director will perform tax compliance reviews, conduct research on complex tax pronouncements, as well as collaborate on tax system reporting initiatives.

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.


• Master's in Taxation and CPA is extremely preferred.


• Public accounting experience is required.


• Extremely well versed in real estate private equity fund and REIT tax transactions.


• Knowledge of Yardi is a plus, but not required.


• Excellent tax compliance knowledge.


• Strong communication, analytical, and systems skills.


• $250 - 300k + bonus.
