You have completed a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Chemical Engineering. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 3 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

  • Experience with non-metallic material design / product / application


  • Experience with corrosion prevention, including substrate analysis, surface preparations, coating applications, inspections


  • Familiarity with design processes, including specifications, drawings, calculations, engineering reports

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Process Engineer - Spray in Place Lining Solutions in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Component Replacement & Repair Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Day-to-day tasks will include supporting engineering design, specification, and application processes associated with coating and liner systems while interfacing with the Product Line Manager, project managers, operations group and technical support teams to develop strategies to support the growth of Framatome's Spray-In-Place liner business. Your work will include:


  • Performs a variety of engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems associated with liner and coating applications on or within plant systems and components.

  • Develop application processes IAW industry standards and Framatome procedures.

  • Support projects as technical lead, deploying to sites as required.

Your Total Rewards Package



The range of base salary for the position is between $82,000 - $111,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
