Duties & Responsibilities



  • Lead and contribute to projects related to air quality and waste disposal, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

  • Conduct air quality assessments, emissions inventories, and Waste storage/handling audits.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess the environmental impact of projects and propose mitigation measures.

  • Stay abreast of environmental regulations, policies, and guidelines related to air quality and waste disposal.

  • Ensure projects adhere to local, state, and federal environmental requirements.

  • Plan and manage air emission testing projects.

  • Prepare air and waste permit applications and negotiate with permitting agencies.

  • Prepare air emission and waste generation estimates for chemical manufacturing and other processes.

  • Work closely with clients to understand their air quality and waste reduction objectives and provide expert guidance.

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies in air quality monitoring and air pollution control equipment.

  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance environmental performance.

  • Mentor and support the professional development of junior engineers.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.




Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering with air and waste focus.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

  • Knowledge of relevant air quality and waste regulations and environmental impact assessment processes.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.

  • Proven project management capabilities.
