Overview

Hiring Bonus up to $10,000 DOE and Relocation Package Available. Must begin work by July 1, 2024 to qualify.

$49.16-$78.18 per hour, based on RN Degree and level of experience.

The Triage Registered Nurse Coordinator (RNC) is a key member of a multi-disciplinary Radiation Oncology team that includes medical providers, residents, fellows, nurse providers, social workers, radiation therapists, and various clinic support staff. In this procedural/treatment-based clinic, the Triage RN Coordinator delivers professional nursing care to in-clinic patients and functions dynamically in coordinating the care activities involved in managing patients receiving radiation treatment. This can include nursing assessment, care planning, transport organization, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, managing patient conditions, supporting stability changes, delivering interventions, and treating symptomology for patients receiving radiation treatment. The Triage RN serves as a key communication link across inter-professional teams and works collaboratively to ensure patients have a safe treatment encounter.



Responsibilities

BSN Graduates: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) 30 days before start date.

  • ADN Graduates: Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program 30 days before the start date.
  • Associate degree Nurses required to enroll in BSN program within 3 years of hire and complete within 5 years of hire
  • Internal ONA applicants: Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
  • Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License
  • BLS at time of hire and must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • BLS must not expire during orientation
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation

  • At least one-year experience in Oncology or an Ambulatory Nursing setting preferred.
  • OCN or ONN-CG (Certification Oncology Nurse Navigator–Certified Generalist)
  • ACLS
