Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.)

Pay: Base Salary, $160,000-$276,000

What you will do

The Sr. Director, Global Content Excellence, defines and sets the organization strategy for Creative and Content in the context of Science of Brand Growth, the Kenvue brand-building framework.

This role leads a team that works across brands, agencies, and markets to define and continuously improve creative and content development processes, execution and outcomes, and drives our Marketing Communications (Marcom) process. The Sr. Director leads Kenvue's Science of Brand Growth for distinctive assets and brand experiences, determining how to assess and improve effectiveness, driving accountability and mental availability metrics across the portfolio.

This role is responsible for tools, workflows, technologies, measurement and partnerships that streamline ways of working and improve the organization's ability to deliver effective creative and content with consistency. The Director will also work to create a culture of continuous learning and development - creating detailed learning plans and looking internally and externally for best-in-class examples that Kenvue can build from.

This role requires an experienced business leader who has built effective teams, collaborated cross-functionally and with external partners to create a significant shift in organizational capability.

Key Responsibilities


  • Marketing Communications model: Scale and implement a common Marketing Communications model, including tools for creative evaluation, calibration and ongoing development, best practice integration to briefs and evaluation checklists, and training. Connect audience and category entry point insights to effective outputs. Digitize process through workflows and automate where possible.
  • Science of Brand Growth: Drive thought leadership on application of creative and content within our brand growth model, building out thinking around implicit memory durability, category insights, message hierarchy, salience at the global and local level, creative "quality," etc.
  • Content Development model: Lead development and implementation of content models and the technology to support them, from modular briefs to composable content toolkits through to production models. Lead application of Generative AI tools to the process to improve speed, quality and personalization where relevant.
  • Creative Performance: Create accountability within creative development for mental availability metrics and outcomes and recognize partnership in improving media ROI. Evolve Best Practice Index (BPI) metrics across channels and improve measurement tools and granularity of insights.
  • Learning Agenda: Develop a robust learning plan by category, content creator, and format. Attend and facilitate external marketing and capability learnings and scale internally via process, governance, and measurement improvements, as well as through communities of practice. Partner with global providers (Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon) on best practices and workshops to improve performance.

Required Qualifications


  • A BA/BS degree in Marketing or Business Administration
  • A minimum of 10 years of marketing, sales or related experience.
  • 8 years leading cross-functional teams across a matrix organization.
  • Deep understanding of the creative development process, production models, best practices, formats and applications within media, owned channels.
  • Track record of marketing leadership success, identifying and implementing new business opportunities, measuring, and delivering in-market results.
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking ability to set a vision, identify new opportunities, develop new ways of working, pinpoint solutions to complex problems and overcome obstacles.
  • Exceptional business communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex messages to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully and build relationships with internal teams, suppliers and agencies is required.
  • Coaching/mentoring skills to develop marketers is required; a team-builder with a passion for working with creative people is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills, and business savvy orientation with strong appreciation for standard methodologies and governance.
  • This position requires up to 10% travel.
Desired Qualifications

  • Master's in business or marketing specialization.
  • Direct agency experience in either lead-agency models or Production models.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
