Job Description:

In support of Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault, we are seeking a Senior Program Analyst with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols.

Responsiblities:

The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provides analytical support in any of the following disciplines: engineering, science, business, financial, cost, or program management. Typical duties performed may include; analysis, design, development, testing, integration, logistics, program management, cost, financial, or management analysis, or maintenance of systems, processes, programs, offices or products. Develops and/or reviews acquisition documentation, program reports, papers, drawings, specifications, procedures.
  • Support the Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) and Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) Teams with all aspects of Program Management to include, but not limited to, acquisition strategy research, drafting and updating documents for the ARV Program, and maintain configuration control of those documents on the PM AAA portal.
  • Assist the Government in the creation, update, and tracking of acquisition and program documentation (e.g., program briefs, organizational charts, staffing spreadsheets).
  • Review all documents for grammar, spelling, and technical content as it applies to DoD policies, and provide recommended changes.
  • Develop briefs for the ARV & ACV Teams to include IPT briefs, Congressional briefs, MS briefs, Gate Review briefs, and PMRs.
  • Update and maintain ARV & ACV top level program schedules as well as various detailed schedules to support brief development.
  • Participate in all pre-brief meetings associated with the brief development, capture recommended changes, and incorporate those changes into the brief.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree. Six (6) years of related progressive professional work experience in program analytics. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Specific/Preferred Requirements:
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access and Teams).
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational and priority management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or on a team in a dynamic environment and with multiple-discipline projects.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Process of workflows in Remedy.
  • Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is commonly required to speak, hear, walk, sit, stand and balance; regularly required to use hands and reach with arms. The employee may on occasion lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
