Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Engineer I in Auburn Hills, MI.
Primary responsibilities include:
Member of cross-functional team including IT Operations, Applications, Cybersecurity - Risk & Compliance
Systems Engineer I will diagnose and resolve network, infrastructure, and user issue escalations received from a remote service desk
Implement assigned client projects by drawing on various prior technical experience
Maximize infrastructure performance through proactive network design and monitoring
Develop and maintain accurate and timely documentation for clients
Provide on-the-job training (via shadowing) to Service Desk
Produce up-to-date records of clients' networks as they grow (Network Topologies as an example)
Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications
Implement approved changes according to the Change management process
As a Systems Engineer I, you will design and implement approved infrastructure upgrades
Maintaining and administering computer networks and related environments including systems software, hardware, and configurations
Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required
Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing infrastructure security measures
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems
Replacing faulty infrastructure hardware components when required
Conferring with remote Advanced Engineering SME's about solving existing system problems
Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of infrastructure and computer systems
Coordinating computer network access and use
Designing, configuring, and testing networking software
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in Cisco Suite of Applications and Networking Services
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Suite of Applications and Services: M365, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams
Preferred Qualifications:
VMware/ESXi
MS Windows Server OS
Storage (SAN) Dell EMC/IBM
MS Suite
Cisco Suite
Service Now ITSM
Excellent Time management
ITIL Best Practice
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
