Responsible for overall operational performance for 2nd Shift (Monday - Thursday currently).
Lead all manufacturing and support teams to achieve a safe work environment in accordance with the objectives of safety, quality, cost and efficiency.
Coordinate manufacturing schedules and priorities within the production plan to satisfy customer requirements.
Responsible for people management including: people resources, goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well being
Facilitate problem-solving and corrective action for production and quality issues.
Adherence with all Schneider safety protocols and procedures. Ensures a safety focused attitude by all associates.
Identifying, driving, and implementing continuous improvement opportunities within the group.
Initiates and maintains plant requirements to all mandatory environmental and 5S requirements
Leading appropriate SIM (short interval management) cycles within the Schneider Production System.
What qualifications will make you successful?
Degree preferred, not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education.
Experience within manufacturing or possess a mechanical aptitude
Strong organizational and analytical skills, results driven, ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
Experienced in problem resolution
Demonstrated ability to lead change and continuous improvement
Have a strong initiative to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
SAP experience preferred
